The Outline of the English Translation Service Provided in Our Hospital
Please note that this service will be operated as a trial at the beginning and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Medical consultations in English are provided in our hospital on weekends and national holidays through consecutive translation service by a translator who is a volunteer staff. It will be provided remotely through a call using LINE application (installed in the devices at the hospital). The hospital staff will be reaching the translator every time when the English service is required.
As the translator is not in the hospital office, you might wait until the hospital and the translator are connected through LINE app.
To achieve absolute safety in the treatment and to achieve mutual understandings, treatment and procedures will be confirmed thoroughly before performing. We might not be able to offer consultation if the rules are not followed. Your cooperation will be very much appreciated.
Attention: Please understand that there are a few days/month when the translator is not available for translation. As the translator is not an animal health provider, the conditions and the situations of your pet might be asked for a few times for confirmation to avoid any misinterpretation, and you might be asked to pause while the translator repeats the conversation in Japanese. Thank you for your understanding.

Regarding departure from Japan, documents
All documents are need to be prepared by pet owners. Requirements of documents, vaccinations, inspections or certificates vary depending on which country to travel to so there need to be confirmed by pet owners. There are some forms we can fill out and we need about a week to fill those out so please prepare as early as possible.
